The competition invites students to draw, invent, or design in response to reading books from the Premier’s Reading Challenge booklist.
It focuses on science, technology, engineering, and maths, and – with the additions of sub-categories such as space and nature – have made it even richer and more enticing to schools and students.
Last year’s competition received almost 3,500 submissions,with the 10 winners and 24 runners-up having their artwork immortalised in acoffee table book called A Celebration of Science and Nature.
The book was a collaboration between the Premier’s ReadingChallenge and Adelaide National Park City project. It was launched today alongwith this year’s competition.
