Planting to reintroduce rare plant species back into nature

Location
Banksia Park, City of Tea Tree Gully
Date
Thursday 30th June, 9am - 3:30pm
Join Trees For Life in an exciting new project to help reintroduce rare plant species into nature. Planting days will involve attending carefully selected sites and helping plant these rare species. Some activities will also involve guarding and staking the plants. Come along to meet like-minded people and discover the hidden wonders of your local environment in beautiful bushland close to home. All tools and equipment provided. These planting days were made possible through partnership between Trees For Life and Green Adelaide, with guidance provided by SA Seed Conservation Centre at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens for species selection, seed collection, seed pre-treatment and advice around propagation and planting design.
