Zero waste cooking means approaching food completely differently. The true secret to zero waste cooking is ignoring the trash can and finding a use for everything, from onion peels to avocado seeds. AFS has partnered with Rebecca Stoner from Just Eat Plants to run a Masterclass on “Foodprint – It’s not that complicated!” Rebecca Stoner will talk guests through how to think smart, get creative and use parts of ingredients in ways we haven’t before. You will also get to speak directly to a couple of our local organic farmers who will share their passion for ethical farming as well as tips and tricks to make your produce longer. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to prepare zero food waste plant-based meals that are delicious, nourishing and health promoting. The session includes a demo, followed by a sit down dinner and a recipe card and fact sheet on use and preservation of food scraps.
Bookings essential. Cost : $60pp. Includes workshop, 2 course organic vegetarian / vegan dinner with tea/coffee and a glass of organic wine.
