You're invited to join us on Arbor Day and help plant native seedlings. This event is part of a long-term project to remove weeds and improve biodiversity and water quality along the River Torrens. This year marks a decade since the first community planting event was held along the River Torrens at this site. So join us to celebrate and help make Adelaide a National Park City. A joint initiative of the City of West Torrens, Green Adelaide and Greening Australia.
Bookings essential. Limited accessibility to some parts of site, however shared-use path provides good access to main planting area where event will be focused.
Green Adelaide acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of the Adelaide region, upon which we have the privilege to work and connect. We acknowledge and respect the cultural, spiritual, physical and emotional connection that Kaurna Miyurna (Kaurna People) hold with their land, waters and community, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. Green Adelaide will work in partnership with the First Peoples of South Australia to take a leading role in caring for their Country.
