Take a mindful walk on a distinctive pop-up labyrinth alongside the mangroves at Garden Island. Garden Island is a unique coastal environment nurtured by the presence of thick forests of mangroves. Inspired by the beautiful form of the mangrove seedling, a propagule, we have created a distinctive labyrinth design which will be temporarily reproduced for this event on open space near the boardwalk.
Bookings essential. Adults $5.00. Please contact the Port Environment Centre if you have any mobility or access concerns. While the labyrinth event will not have sufficient space for those needing wheelchair access, alternate arrangements could be made to experience the labyrinth before or after the main group.
Green Adelaide acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of the Adelaide region, upon which we have the privilege to work and connect. We acknowledge and respect the cultural, spiritual, physical and emotional connection that Kaurna Miyurna (Kaurna People) hold with their land, waters and community, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. Green Adelaide will work in partnership with the First Peoples of South Australia to take a leading role in caring for their Country.
